    Thank you for visiting my photo site Chris, you have a wonderful blog here and I've read about you before (while doing a vanity search) :-)
    I love the photo of Billie Holiday. While I'm not a huge fan of jazz I love her voice, she one of my favorites. I'm looking forward to reading through your blog. I'm a musician and really enjoy reading musical history. If you ever need a photographer let me know :-)

    BTW, Your Manhattan photo #14 was taken at the intersection of West 55th St, and 7th Ave, looking south on the latter. There used to be a recording studio in the Wellington Hotel—I did sessions with many great jazz players there in the early Sixties.
